NYC tunnel threat / London bombing anniversary.

I travel all over the world.

We, living behind the relative security that our form of government brings us sometimes (most of the time, actually) forget how safe we really are here. I witnessed the Edgeware memorial this morning in London. We always stay at Regents' Park when here.

The threat against the Holland tunnel / PATH train tunnels in NYC should remind us all that we are at WAR.

It's not too soon to relax that kind of vigilance. It never will be.

Sounds like it was a great example of cooperation between agencies, and the plot was foiled before the planning really began.

It is coming out that it was monitoring of a 'chat room on the Internet' that led to the surveillance of people overseas in 3 countries!

Now it's coming out that the media 'leaked' the investigation prior to it being concluded, and we may have lost the rest of the players.

Of course the media is saying they were 'just doing our jobs'.

Hopefully, 'doing their job' will get some of them right on the front line at the wrong moment. They might get a different view of the concept of 'security'.

Just to sell more papers or be first on the nightly news. These news outlets will have more and more blood on their hands until someone out there realizes that like you said, WE ARE AT WAR and this needs to stop.

The more I think about it the more I do not buy that the liberal news outlets are just trying to up ratings or make more money...If the liberal news cared about ratings and money they would all become cheerleaders for GW Bush and pro-War, like FoxNews....The Democrat media (pretty much all media) has an agenda and it trumps the good of the nation and ratings; the truth is merely a casualty.
