North Korean missile warhead falls on Alaska

No, not this week, in 2003.

But the Bush administration didn't need their gullible 'base' be be all confused and agitated like they did in the Summer of '06, so they let this one pass without comment.

NK Missile Warhead Found in Alaska

By Ryu Jin
Staff Reporter

The warhead of a long-range missile test-fired by North Korea was found in the U.S. state of Alaska, a report to the National Assembly revealed yesterday.

``According to a U.S. document, the last piece of a missile warhead fired by North Korea was found in Alaska,’’ former Japanese foreign minister Taro Nakayama was quoted as saying in the report. ``Washington, as well as Tokyo, has so far underrated Pyongyang’s missile capabilities.’’

Bushies: still think you're getting the whole story from Fox?

It was actually recycled steel from an India source being used for pipeline repair. The folks in India are pretty savi - they just forgot to strip the logos off before they sold it to Tesco!

How ungrateful can you get?!?

The North Koreans get a couple of nuclear power plants and a millon gallons of diesel from Bill and Hillary and Kim Kong Il gets a blow j*b from Jimmy Carter and they still shoot missiles at us.

That worked well didn't it?

LOL.

The Hankook Times is the main daily of South Korea with a circulation larger than the L.A. Times.

But feel free to wait to hear it on Faux News. I wonder if they reported the termination of the CIA Bin Ladin team... ?

The 'discovery' was made and reported in 2003. The suspected 'warhead' came from a well-publicized North Korean Taepodong missile test-fired in 1998. I'm pretty sure Bush was Governor of Texas at the time. But I'm not sure.

Tech is currently scrambling to figure out how Bush somehow duped Clinton into not responding to North Korea lobbing a warhead into Alaska...

"It's GOTTA be here somewhere, I just KNOW IT!!!"

Well, considering that Google found 18,500 hits for this news story, with most of them being from 2003, it seems that the starter of this thread is as usual way off base and trying to again harpoon the current admin.

Results 1 - 10 of about 18,500 for NK Missile Warhead Found in Alaska. (0.33 seconds)

Wonder of wonders. You know that old joke, "How can you tell when a lawyer is lying? His lips are moving."

I'll leave the extrapolation to the Weenie....

Teck, your basing you implication that Fox news is not creditable. Based on the article in the Hankooky, claiming that a NK ICBM hit Alaska. I am sorry my friend but that is not plausible or responsible.

I have a better idea, why doesn't the US government simply leave the N. Koreans alone?

Agreed. Stop the aid and communication with them. Let them whither on the vine...

LOL.

Something we didn't know about until 2003 was somehow the responsibility of a president who left office in 2001?

I guess that's right up there with somebody's assertion the Bush sitting and reading to schoolchildren was an appropriate response to airliners hitting the WTC.

And what's the position: that it didn't happen because the paper is South Korean, or it did happen and it's Clinton's fault? You guys better call Limbaugh and get your stories straight.

Poor dumb Dubya. Nothing is his fault, ever. We applaud his ability to get up in the morning and dress himself. We expect little more.

Well, perhaps not EVERYTHING is Bush's fault. I'll keep looking for something that isn't and report as soon as I find it.

Maybe we are looking in the wrong place for WMDs...

Alaska, anyone?

I don't blame him for invading Afghanistan. That was a good thing. I just blame him for 'cutting and running' before finishing the job.

;-)

And the naysayers give you no credit for saying something nice about GWB.

Now if one of them would step up to the plate and say something nice about the other side of the aisle!!

I'm not holding my breath, Bob. Remember, the chief naysayer believes that Democrats are in league with Satan.
