It's so that you will lie awake wondering why it's 9 minutes, and then get up.

Mine is only 7 minutes. I liked the one I had before that was 9 minutes better.

What's with the snooze alarm anyway. You're just waking up 9 minutes before you need to. What's the point in that?

Just set the damned alarm for the time you need to wake up, then get the hell out of bed when the alarm goes off. How hard is that?

Do you ladies need to be gently "eased" into your morning routine? Is the harshness of jumping out of bed when the alarm goes off the first time too stressful for your delicate constitutions?

Or you can do as my wife does, and set the clock 20 minutes fast. That way you're up earlier. Makes sense, right?

Just position your bed by a large window and when the sun goes up, get up. Then move your *** to get to work by 8 am. My mornings in a nutshell.

My alarm is an emergency backup. It rarely goes off. I get up at 5 AM. I shower, have a leisurely cup of coffee and check the news. It's the quietest part of my day. I leave the house at 6 or 6:30. The snooze button would rob me of my morning ritual.

I used to put my clock clear across the room from the bed but I got tired of walking there every nine minutes.
