Band Spam - friends on tour
Anyone into 70's Punk influences?
A friend of my wife's from high school is on tour. We went and saw them twice this weekend. He was quite shocked to see her the first time, and he didn't expect her to be way out here. They stayed over last night, before heading to Boise for thier next show - tonight. They needed sleep badly. Came to our annual BBQ/Jam too. Called Ironhead. Go see 'um. $5-$10 shows. They've been playing ****e dates thanks to thier booker, sleeping in thier tour van because they're not pulling in enough for hotels. Booker tried to get them to sign a contract last night. Wisely, they said "NO!" The lead guitar players is a regular D'jango. Took me quite by surprise when I shook his hand...:huh Jul 31 2006 9:00P The Bouquet Boise, ID Aug 1 2006 9:00P Burts Tiki Lounge Salt Lake City, UT Aug 2 2006 9:00P Mesa Theatre Grand Junction, CO Aug 3 2006 9:00P 3 Kings Tavern Denver, CO Aug 4 2006 9:00P The Blacksheep Colorado Springs, CO Aug 5 2006 9:00P The Replay Lounge Lawrence, KS Aug 6 2006 9:00P Fred P Otts Kansas City, KS Aug 8 2006 2:00P Vintage Vinyl St. Louis Aug 8 2006 9:00P Way Out Club St. Louis, MO Aug 9 2006 9:00P Pontiac Cafe & Bar Chicago, IL Aug 10 2006 8:00P Melody Inn Indianapolis, IN Aug 11 2006 9:00P Cafe Bourbon Street Columbus, OH Aug 14 2006 9:00P The Barbary Philadelphia, PA |
