I used to see those now and then when I lived in Fla as a child. It is a land crab.

Ghost crab = Ocypode quadrata
Blue land crab = Cardisoma guanhumi (Latreille) Not the same critter. Notice the ghost crab has a significantly different shape to the body. Also, both the male and female have a sandy coloration that allows them to blend in and hide. With the blue land crab, the males are of the coloration seen in Jims first photo and the females are variable brown tones.
