I posted a pic of my daughter holding a nasty stray cat she had shot. It got pulled and I got a warning from the mods. This was before I realized how many cat lovers posted here (not that there is anything wrong with that). Oops!!! I grew up in a rural farming community and hence, have a slightly different view on pet care and varmint control.

Where I grew up, if a stray shows up and harasses your pets, it gets a bullet. When a pet gets deathly ill, it gets a bullet. When a skunk shows up it gets a bullet. When a woodchuck shows up it gets a bullet. When a possum shows up it gets a bullet. When a snapping turtle shows up in the pond, it gets a bullet. ETC ETC. Hmmm, can a midwesterner be considered a redneck? I think I might qualify!

Hmm - just wanted to see what it would look like...

I know that I used to be far more willing to use the edit button in the past. I guess I'm mellowing out in my old age. :eek:

the moderator should at least be representative of the average joe here, and the avg. joe here drives a 911.
