Have you been censored?

I've been on Pelican for two years now. I've never had a post edited or deleted by a mod. Recent activity got me wondering...

Are we by and large a group that follows the forums rules, or have most of us had some sort of "infraction" at some point or another?

2 pictures removed....

Want to see them? LOL!!

Both times I did not agree but let it go. Lifes too short. Plus my sense of humor is seriously twisted and I understand others will not see things like I do.

I think I've had a link to some pictures deleted once, and in that instance I thought there was a chance that it would be. If anyone is seeing more deletions and/or changes, I think it's because the environment here has changed over the years. There's more fighting and ridiculous name calling than there used to be. Too much political crap seems to be the catalyst.

I know how to piss em off without going too far ;)

It helps to say sumthin nice about them once in a while (Hi Todd, howz the car runnin?)

That is, without a doubt, the best yet. I hope you included this one in your vote tally!

So does that mean that we are generally behaving ourselves or is it a 3 strikes and goodbye thing?

What'd I do? ;)

turbo6bar 08-01-2006 04:34 PM

You can put me down for zero times. I think the forum is fine as is, but some folks need to grow some thicker skin. I know I did. I recall speeder and aurel were the first ones that got under my skin. I fabricated voodoo dolls of each and pee on them any time I get miffed.

Every liberal in the OT forum is a whiny little pussy.

Edited - personal attack added. -Z-man.

Not here, but I was recently asked to remove my posts about PCNA and local dealerships blocking US imports to Canada from the forum on our local PCA chapter's site, after said dealerships threatened to pull their sponsorship from local PCA events.

Lasted 15 minutes on the Ferrari Board before being Banned

They didn't even tell me I was Banned from the Early 911S Registry Board....They found some way of putting me on a Master Ignore List..where it would look like I posted on my screen , but wouldn't show up on anybody elses screen...

I got a Topic closed on the 924 Board....and left on my own accord shortly thereafter....But NOSTATUS GOT BANNED,,,now that was funny...

I only have like four posts - but I am willing to learn.

And I'm wanted in Arizona.

Tobra 08-02-2006 06:49 AM

I did get a warning from Z-Man apparently, never showed up as a PM, so if I did not realize I was censored, does that count?
