My cell phone went off while on a trip in Phoenix moments later. Living on a boat in SoCal, any 4+ magnitude anyhere on the west coast generates a Tsunami warning message. It goes to my email and a text message on my cell.
P.S. It stated that no Tsunami was generated.

Hmm. Think we had a teeny in Portland too, just now.
Edit: Yup, news says at 1:39 AM there was a 3.8 or higher quake about 20-30 miles north of Portland, actually in southern WA. Gosh, made this CA transplant right feel at home.
