I've seen a few of those riding tow trucks in the past few months. A couple months ago, one was getting dragged onto a flatbed in the middle of the street less than a mile from my office.

Man that engine cradles looks industrial, not much imagination or innovation there.

LOOKS GREAT! You're looking at the engine. Not some fake plastic panel cover hiding the 'real' stuff... fantastic.

Sure, the idea is good, it just looks like something I would build to mount a Briggs&Stratten to my latest Frankenstein mower. Angle iron and flatstock just aren't sexy

Lambo owners don't worry about their engines... all attention is on the wheels and the doors

Funny, the Land Cruiser in the background appeals to me more than the Lambo.

Now if it was a Miura...

Way too Bling-Bling for me. In my opinion an exotic car should exude sensuality...i.e Ferrari.

Why on earth would you paint the calipers. Interferes with proper heat dissipation. For shame.

Looks like it. I think I'd stay farther away from that car than the Lambo. The BMW is said to be notoriously prone to breakdown. But I can't say for sure...

I agree - that engine cradle looks like '8th grade metal shop' to me! Our Midwest R Gruppe ran with the Lambo club from Detroit a few months back. It was interesting. We're fairly aggressive drivers and these guys were just sort of in 'cruise control' mode. I don't think they knew what to make of us! Friendly group of guys though.

Lambos rock, IMO. The Gallardo is nice...but I think they really hit a home run with the Diablo...pure sex on wheels...

Hey, does that thing have two struts per wheel???..and two brake calipers???

I'll tell you, though, a Gallardo in the right hands is a sight to behold and hear.

There is a group of guys that I do track days with, and there are a couple of Gallardos. We've done days at Seattle and Thunder Hill, and there are 2 guys with e-gear that simply FLY around the track... puts the rest of us to shame. They drive the hell out of them.

Not a big fan of most Lambo's, but the Gallardo with e-gear is on my list of "things to lust over".

The 2nd brake caliper is for the parking/e-brake.

Awesome cars.
