“This is the beginning of the cell phone war between Israel and Hezbollah,” wrote Ahmed Mughrabi, a reporter for Al-Hayat newspaper.
From the tone of the article, it sounds like both sides are doing it.

Israel destroys Gaza house after phoning residents

By Nidal al-Mughrabi
Sun Aug 6, 9:35 PM ET

GAZA (Reuters) - An Israeli air strike destroyed a house in the northern
Gaza Strip on Monday after residents said they received two telephone calls from the army, one urging them to leave and a second insisting, "This is not a joke."

An Israeli army spokeswoman said the house had been used by the Islamic Jihad militant group to store weapons.

No one was injured in the blast.

A person who lived in the house denied any ties to militants.

The air strike was part of a wider offensive launched by
Israel after Palestinian gunmen captured a soldier in a cross-border raid on June 25.

Mohammed al-Shurafa, who lived with his family in the house, told local radio that he received a call from a man who said he was with the Israeli army and asked him to leave the house.

Shurafa said the family left the house but thought the call was a joke. He returned a few minutes later and immediately the telephone rang again.

"He (the army official) said: 'Why did you return? This is not a joke,"' said Shurafa.

He said he rushed out of the house minutes before the blast.

Israel's Gaza offensive has killed at least 167 Palestinians, more than half of them civilians.

Israel has rejected demands by the three militant groups that captured Corporal Gilad Shalit in the raid, which includes Hamas, to trade the soldier for Palestinian prisoners.

Earlier on Monday in the occupied
West Bank, a Palestinian man was shot dead while driving with his son near Nablus, Palestinian security sources and medics said.

An unidentified gunman opened fire on their car, killing the 47-year-old man and wounding his 17-year-old son.

Witnesses said the gunman was in a car with yellow Israeli plates. An Israeli army spokeswoman said she was not aware of the incident.

Not a lot of guarantees in life, but I GUARANTEE that Hezbollah would never call some ones house and tell them to get out, we are going to blow it up.

They might say, "Get out of Haifa" or ""Get out of Israel" but that is it

yep, you are correct. Not at least because they have no idea what their rockets are going to hit, the stupid bastards.

They arent using unmanned drones, infrared surveillence, laser guided bombs and F16s all made in places like Idaho, Oregan, Texas and Sth Carolina. And i doubt they are getting real time sattelite images from Langley, Virginia, either.
