Bought another project Car
An old customer called me wed saying he wanted to sell his car, was moving etc etc. He managed to play with it and really mess some things up. So i bought a 94 honda Civic CX hatchback for 2k bucks. It didn't have a motor but came with a 2.2L h22 prelude tranny, the swap mounts for the h22( i had installed it a few years ago) a turbonetics turbo kit, 750 cc injectors, an intake manifold, and a 3 inch exhaust with apexi muffler plus a bunch of other goodies(extra alternator, starter, etc etc) It just so happens that i have an extra blown up engine and head laying around. It is missing a steering wheel and fuel pump, but those are no big deal. The car is in primer and ready to be repainted. So i threw a motor togther, installed it, and now i'm finishing up the turbo kit. I should have it running today. Hopefully i'll have it dyno tuned by the end of the night. I'm hoping to make 300-350hp on a bone stock 2.2L. Guys have made 500hp and went low 10's on stock blocks, but i want this one to last a little while, but maybe later on i'll crank her up to see what she can really do. I forgot to mention the car in full trim weighs 2100 lbs I should have some pics up later tonight, hopefully along with a dyno sheet Now if i can figure out how to make this thing get some traction so i can get it into the low 11's.
