Sturgis Violence

It seems the HA and Outlaws are still at it. What is it with these people? It's just a goddamn bike club. So, if the Ferrari guys showed up at the Portland Parade, should the PCA guys have shot at them? Why is this so prevelent in the bike world, and completely unheard of in the car world?

As an aside, one of these upstanding citizens was from right here in Lynnwood. Kind of a "local boy makes good" quality to it, don't you think? I didn't even realize we had an HA chapter around here; this is Bandito country. Anyway, for your reading pleasure:

Hmmm. Not surprising I guess, since they are enemies from reading that article. How do you shoot five people at close range, and I assume not w/ BB guns, and not only not kill anyone but not even seriously hurt them?? Are they really that tough?

The guys that are my old riding buddies from the '70s used to go to Sturgis and Deadwood every year when it was like 3-400 people, I still remember but I never went with. They were a bunch of cool blue-collar guys a little older than me that grew up together, some went to Viet Nam, and all were MC enthusiasts. Triumph, HD, BMW, etc.. Real road-trippers, "Then Came Bronson" dudes.

It's a shame what a little good old US corporatizing can do to f&#k something up.

dont feel bad...........we got the one and only sonny barger living here. we even went to his birthday party held at the buffalo chip bar here. bar is owned by ex sheriff who had run in with sheriff joe arpaio and was fired. kinda like flipping off the big sheriff, allowing the party. we were next door at harolds bar watching steelers game when we found out about sonnys party. walked across parking lot to party. lots of wannabees, lots of jekyll and hide closet bikers and then the real bad ass aryan brotherhood hells angels. surrounding hill side was ringed with cops w/spotting scopes. undercover cops driving around everywhere. spent about 15 minutes observing this crap in our little town and have one answer for you on why they do what they do.................................METH! big bucks/low overhead= gun play. really hope i never see that crap here ever again. dont really mind bikers in general, because we are DIRTY BIKERS by trade. we just dont ride choppers, and we ride in the dirt not on the sissy street with handlebar leather streamers!

hells angels came in and told dirty dozen you either leave the state or you'll be carried out in a pine box! no more dirty dozen here. hot ticket for angels is to steal rice rocket go fast jap bike, take harley motor stuff in frame with mongo brakes from jap bike, ditch everything they dont need and re-title as homebuilt. so btwn stealing and meth and guns WE HAVE A PROBLEM! just waiting for april to come again and with it BIKE WEEK! our little version of sturgis. and all the crap that comes with it! look at the shootout in laughlin a while back and a couple of dead bikers found in gulch(shotgunned) outside of needles on I-40.

maybe i should be politically correct.................their just mis-understood bikers! yeah right! flat out VIOLENT CRIMINALS!

You are right Denis; pretty telling in that no one has died yet. Must be a pretty bad shot. One would think the HA would have some kind of a training program. Like a summer camp or something.

Q. What's the difference between a Hoover and a Harley?

A. The location of the dirtbag

Sorry, couldn't help it...

three of the victims had been released from the hospital, one was in stable condition in Sioux Falls, and two were in critical condition
I'd say there were some serious injuries. To there's no telling how close they were and what sort of guns they were using.

They are all like the computer geek in Office Space, Michael Bolton. He's jammin' to some gangsta rap, stuck in rush hour traffic, when some rough looking black dude strolls by. He couldn't turn the volume down and roll the window up fast enough.

I have ridden for 25+ years and known and ridden with some real 1% dudes. The two largest clubs in this area are the Pagans and the Warlocks. HA's are around but don't have the presence.

There are the 'fringe' guys and the closer core circle of bad @ss guys in the local chapters. I've know a few fringe people that were more into the 1% lifestyle (the good parts if you will) and tried to maintain regular jobs and some semblence of a family.

Make no mistake. These are thugs; gang members who just happen to ride motorcycles. Don't ever get this aspect confused.

They are no different than the crips, bloods, ms-13 and all the other f--king gang garbage out there today. They live off of other people by stealing, robbing and sometimes killing for gain.

You'd be surprised at the actual numbers of hardcore 'club' guys that don't even have their own motorcycles. They ride to an event in a station wagon or old van.

while attending sonny bargers b-day we were amazed at how many were dressed in golf shirts and slacks! but you couldnt help but notice the AB (aryan brotherhood ) tats. the funny thing was i went with the ex head of anchorage p.d. homicide dept.(retired) who just so happens to be a 6'0 blonde, who packs a .38 snubby. she was interested in seeing who was who from a few episodes w/the angels in anchorage(once a cop always a cop). her boyfriend rides a monster hawg and the both of us were scoping out the paint jobs on the bikes under the watchful eye of "mongo" the bike watcher. will admit they did have a kick ass band going and the booze was flowing. following day drove by bar at 6AM on way to work and there were quite a few bikes in parking lot and a few dead soldiers passed out in pickup beds, roasting there brains in the heat LOL! all the while being still watched by maricopa county's finest up on the hill. they went so far as to have the ARMORED CAR ASSAULT VEHICLE on call at the cop shop down the road. they were taking no chances on things getting out of hand.
