Well, I have had part of my throat cut out, both my eyes muscles cut off my eyes and sewn back on, a class 3 herniated disc which is still causing incredable pain to course down my left arm as I type, several large needles inserted into my lungs to drain out fluid (and yes I was very much awake), a nose that has been broken 6 times and a few concusions...

I got sniped 3 years ago, waited 45 min in the procedure room, the nurse had to "pull" the vas deferons down cuz my boyz decided that the room was just a bit too cold for their liking. The first few seconds were nice but after a few minutes of the worse hand job of my life the boys had no choice but to comply.

The doc that did it was in the Navy and did about 10,000 - told me he could do it with his eyes shut. "Ya Capt'n, great but what say you just try peeking out your good eye so Daddy here can staill throw Momma a decent one from time to time huh?"

The smell of the burning tubes is rather interesting, the sound is actually worse than the feel of it. When he stitches you up the tugging is also a bit troublesome. The swelling is taken care of with a bag of frozen corn. Wear a jock or some tighty whiteys to keep the boys in place for a few.

Its not that bad but I'm not a good judge of pain...

Ya, repressed that part

The upside is that the doc will tell your Wife that it is really good for you to spew often. This opens the door for some additional hummers and butt sex not to mention the spontansex - Momma don't got to worry bout pills, creams, or any dat stuff and daddy don't got to worry bout no rain coat!

All in all - well worth the few moments of "discomfort".

Just remember to manually clear out the tubes for a while afterwards before getting back onto the horse bareback. Ask to have a couple of hot nurses around during the procedure, it helps taking your mind off things.

I remember another old thread about this. Search for "the big V"?

I actually went to my DE driving instructor for my big V.

It was a total breeze. On a scale of 1 to 10 it was a 3. My kidney stone being a 10 and my bulging disk in my back being a constant 8.

He gave me a valium and percoset to take 30 minutes prior to the procedure. The nurse told me to take them when I got there. They did not kick in until I was almost done.

He numbs you up topically then gives you a couple of novacain shots. You barely feel them because he already numbed you. You might feel a slight pinch and that is the extent of the pain.

We talked cars the whole time and befor I knew it I was done.

The best advice I can give you is to get the procedure done on a Friday morning and take the day off from work. Stay off your feet on Friday and most of Saturday only getting up on Saturday to go to the bathroom and get food. Read, watch TV etc.. just relax. I think on Friday you will need to put a cold compress on for 15 minutes off for 30 on for 15 minutes. I did this for most fo Friday and didn't bother on Saturday.

On Sunday I walked around the house and did light things no heavy lifting.

On Monday I was back in the gym at 6:00 in the morning and dropped the amount of weight I lift for the week. The followig week I was back on my bicycle.

Its not a big deal just take it real easy the first 48 hours.

17 years ago. Don't have to worry about the rain coat. Like someone said, keep the tubes cleared for a while before going back in without protection. A "friend" of mine had to have his cleared regularly for about two weeks so he went to the doctors office and this beautiful nurse regularly gave him a fantastic BJ each time. The last time when leaving he saw a door open to an examining room and this guy was masturbating. He looke at the BJ nurse with a WTF look, and she said "Oh, he only has an HMO"

I was having some sinus/tonsil surgery being done, and had a thought - "Hmm, while I'm asleep, wonder if I can get it all done at once?" So I called up urologists with the opening question, "What are you doing next Wednesday at 7AM?". Found a guy that did it while my head was being worked on. Two for one if you will.

He used the "no-scalpel" technique where they use a puncture wound with forceps instead of a cut with a scalpel. The theory is less irritation, easier and faster healing. No sutures, just a some cotton. You might want to do a search on "no scalpel vasectomy": "Some urologists recommend the no-scalpel method because they find it is quicker and minimizes postoperative discomfort and the risk for bleeding and infection. Recently, as encouraging studies are reported, more vasectomies are being performed using this approach."

The most standout moment for me was when the doc asked if I wanted to look down and see the vas that he had pulled out and cut. The idea of seeing a hole in my sack and things sticking out of it lead me to take a pass. A image captured by imagination can change over time, something you see is caught forever.

I'm still a young buck, no kids yet. After I find the right woman and have her squirt out a couple, I'm definitely going to get the snip snip done.

Heck, I'd rather get the snip snip now, after putting a few shots on ice. Then if I find the right woman, she gets my frozen pop and has the kids. That way we can have lots of fun without worry until we want to have kids.

Yes.

Just make sure you go to a doc that you feel you can trust. First one I went to had no sense of humor. Anyone who can't take a joke about this is dangerous with a scalpel.

Found another one who was great, he did the procedure. Gave me a tab of Valium to take before I left the house for his office, helped relax everything.

The most entertaining memory was after he finished, I'm sitting there holding gauze over my package and somehow we get into this technical discussion of Palm vs. Blackberry.

Keep a few bags of frozen peas around, took about a week for the ache to fully subside.

I went for the No Scalpel Technique a couple of years ago and have to say, it really was practically painless. Had it done on a Friday afternoon, relaxed all weekend, and back at work on Monday was no worse for the wear.

No slicing, no dicing not even jullien fries, just a couple of punctures and the job was done. Didn't even feel the "kick in the nutz" that others have told me about.

Might be worth checking it out for availability in your area.

Randy
