I like 'em. Then again, I'm a fan of H.R. Geiger's work too, so my opinion is hardly "mainstream" when it comes to such things.

I like them too.

Of course, I find an isolated location on a cloudy day to be most comforting. When I'm in the UP, I love to explore the ruins of old copper mines (the surface structures) alone. For some reason, I love to be in places that were once busy centers of commerce and industry, but are now abandoned.

seems like everything comes to an end sooner or later

The only things I see are what look like a gallows in the distance and what looks like the shadow of the grim reaper done the row the little girl with the barrel hoop is running...

Disturbing - yes. But thats probably the artists point. And yes, I kind of like them too.

De Chirico is good, so is Max Ernst.
