Procon - I saw some flick the other day, only caught the last half, about some 1800's folks making folk/mountain music. Was that it? If so, it was pretty good - I didn't focus on the story line very much cuz I was also doing some writing in the hotel room.

There was also a scene where a couple lesbians got caught and there school was burned. Was that the same movie or am I getting it mixxed up with another.

In fact there was a scene after that of the Parish and the preacher (I think he was a preacher) that was getting everyone all fired up about the two women. Could have turned real ugly, a witch hunt if it wasn't for a few that stuck uo for them.

It's not that far off from what goes on to this day.
