Race or driving themed songs?
I'm putting together a ton of pictures of racing, cars, folks hanging around events and cars, etc. I need to get some good and appropriate music. Suggestions.
Some I've thought of: Life in the Fast Lane - Eagles No Particular Place to Go - Chuck Berry Fuel - Metallica I know there are tons more but I'm blanking... |

Thunder Road" sung by Robert Mitchum in a flick about moonshine runners in the mid 50s.
There was thunder, thunder, over Thunder Road Thunder was his engine and white lightning was his load And there was moonshine, moonshine to quench the devil's thirst The law they thought they'd get him but the devil got him first... another real oldie...(I have a memory for trivia) Sittin in the back seat, huggin and a kissin with Fred Or... Making love in a Subaru: "There's my roach clip and my bong They've been missing for so long...."

No one has mentioned the all-time roadie song: "You go from Chicago to LA About two thousand miles all the way Just get your kicks on Route 66........."

"While riding in my Cadillac, much to my surprise
A little Nash Rambler was following me, about one third my size I knew that he wanted to pass me by, the way he tooted his horn I'd show him that a Cadillac is not a car to scorn Beep beep.....beep beep... His horn wen beep..beep..beep I pushed my foot oown to the floor, as fast as I coud go But the little Nash Rambler was right beside, as if I was too slow The guy rolled down his window and yelled for me to hear... "Hey buddy, how do I get this thing..... OUT OF SECOND GEAR?" There are a few more verses in between

OR my favorite version of it by White Lion. (Don't laugh, those guys were very talented musicians.)
