Keep a watchful eye…just killed another snake
 

This little guy (about 4' long :eek: ) was curled up about 3 feet from the front door. I killed another one (about 2’ long) 3 weeks ago. Snakes and spiders give me the willies…me no likey!

Dude, i am glad there are no such things in the Pacific NW, with the way i golf, i would be dead if there were.

i just heard on the news a guy was bit by a rattler AFTER he had severed it head. gotta love the spirt of the fight in eem....

One year I killed eleven of them in six weeks within 30 feet of my rural cabin. I had been excavating for septic and water lines and I guess the vibration woke them all up. About five were just little guys but they are the most dangerous since they can't control the amount of venom the inject...just a full dose each time. Older ones can vary the dose.

Yes, you can get 'bit' by a beheaded one. You should bury the head so dogs don't get to it, and get injected as they chew on the thing.

That one will make a nice hat band...

i like the early warning system on those guys. i have seen hundreds, and they have all let me know to back the eff off. i only blasted one, because my dumb dog at the time thought it was a chew toy. snakes dont bother me a bit. but i dont blame people that jack them up for safety. especially with kiddies playing around.

How about snakeskin carry-on luggage?

Leading cause of death in children under 12 in the South West...or so I heard from a CDC report a few years back. Also, about 70% of bites are cuz guys a f'ing with them/showin' off...."hold my beer and watch this!" kinda thing.
