We had two of these pieces of junk. We sent them back and only got a refund on one and a "credit" at The Sharper Image for the other. What incredible garbage these things are!! I can't believe every one of them aren't returned for a refund!

If you nail a broom stick handle onto a flat board so it will stand vertical, spray some furniture polish, WD-40 or some other substance that remains tacky THEN sit it the corner of a room

It will attract dust.. and if you let it sit there long enough dust will accumulate to the point you can see it as it's wiped off. (Cut to this scene in the commercial)

Doesn't mean it's cleaning the air, just a giant dust pole magnet

An ex-g/f of mine shared office space with Richard T. years ago - lawyers.
He bought some kind of dazzling jogging watch while in Hong Kong...his fellow joggers marveled/wanted one.
He ordered 10, sold them all for a handsome profit.
Then he ordered 100 and put a tiny ad in the WSJ...sold them all immediately.
He wanted my ex to package/send them out...she declined.
Anyway, Sharper Image was born.
.
Not just a child in his arms, but a puppy too.
Now he's saying, "...please buy..." ...with his innocent-looking face/eyes. LOL.
He's quite the salesman.
Hard to argue w/successfully selling high dollar consumer trash, I guess.

I bought one of the fancy cork screws at SI, then I went by Bed Bath & Beyond. They had the same exact one for 1/2 price. I took it back to SI.

We have a Honeywell HEPA airfilter (I was skeptical about the Ionic breeze working)
Had it for two years it works well, it's not especially quiet and you have to replace the prefilter a few times a year and the larger filter once a year. The prefilters are about $10 each the larger main filter about $20. We live in a dirty environment (NYC) so I think it was a worthwhile investment.
