I already did that. Didn't flinch, no balls. My observations from the article:

1. The article is supposed to be about eminent domain, but...
2. ...it get's sidetracked with all sorts of Mafia illegalities, and....
3. ...never really says why Piscataway condemned the land. "To prevent it's development." Hardly seems like a reason. I suspect there is more because....
4. ...the article says that Piscataway took ownership of the farm in 2004. But the supreme court didn't rule on the New London case until 2005.

So while I don't agree with the new style eminent domain seizures, this doesn't seem like it is one. It's legal history precedes it. It seems very fishy.

Yeah, Long Branch...They put those $700K condos by the shore. We just went to the new boardwalk Pier Village last monday. It is nice, but I feel bad for the poor folks who get evicted from there. Big money rules..what else would you expect in a State run by the mafia...? I don`t know the details, but I get the picture.

The kick off about NJ corruption may ring as a Mafia-esque statement. To me it's more of the good ole boy network at work, where the inbreds that run a town hold control. This happens anywhere.

I'll have to ask a friend about this case. He is one of the top ED attorneys in the county, Jack Buonocore. He made his mark during the Atlantic City redevelopment.

Actually they would be doing the world a favor if they used ED more liberally in Asbury Park. That town has been "making a comeback" for 40 years.
