Lets put something to rest here, the Islamofascists hate Capitalism and the corrosive effect it has on their Culture, their way of life. As brought to U by Mickey Mouse, Levis, Coke Cola. The Jihadie wants things to be like they were in the good old days of the 14th century. They want a simpler life, where men are men and woman know their place. They don't care what the NY Stock Exchange or NASDQ did today, they despise the corporate world and see it as the great corruptor in the world. They see the USA as a nation of people blinded by the pursuit of a decadent life of immoralit. They see Americans and the West in General as having lost their souls in the pursuit of the material life the Dollar provides.

To end the dollar hegemony, it isn't merely good enough for the American military to go home, but to take their corporate system with them. For them even electricity is left to the will of Allah. For them to live by the rightous principles as laid out in the Koran is the way to to make all right with the world. To that end they are willing to sacrafice themselves for a mission that will destroy as many of the lost souls as possible.

I've never seen nor heard of a "plan" that involved a violent act that did not produce enough blowback to get all over the perpetrators. The only possible exception is the attacks of 9-11-2001 which produced the desired US government activity, so far. These were not a secret plan, however, they were in plain sight all along.

Why would the US government RISK destroying the financial system it is built upon?
