New Peter Frampton CD!
Has anyone here heard the new Peter Frampton CD? I've been listening to it on Rhapsody this evening and it's simply amazing! I met him several years ago at the Nashville NAMM show and he was very gracious and charming. Listen to this CD and see what you think...it's called "Fingerprints".

I'm serious, it's really good! I just finished listening to the 14 tracks and almost every one is really nice. Kind of "smooth jazz meets rock guitar", but better than that. Almost "Steely Dan" with distinctive Peter Frampton guitar work mixed in...

Before you rush to conclusions (all you Frampton haters), consider this: He does NOT sing on this album hence the name. Whew!

30 years ago, "Frampton Comes Alive" was one of the top sellings albums. Pretty much unheard of, in it's day, for a "Live" album. (Sheesh, does anyone remember ALBUMS???
)And lets not forget Humble Pie, several years before that... Frampton's been around for quite a while, and has certainly paid his dues. Yeah...sure...we can skip his motion picture career, playing Billy Shears in Sgt. Pepper's - The Movie...  Randy

"Frampton Live", and "Boston" were the first 2 LP's I bought when I got my first paycheck at the age of 16!
