Any DJ's here?

Don't think so, that's why I'm asking.
Does anyone have turntables and a mixer? Collect records?

I've been doing this for about 17 years.
Mainly soul, r&b, hip-hop, rap, funk, disco.

I used to spin records in and right after college. Trance and House mostly.

I sold my tables, mixer, and records to help with the downpayment on my first house.

I don't DJ out anymore (at least not often), but I still have my gear setup for the occasional session. Im from Detroit orginally. Got started spinning techno in the early 1990's. I'm mostly into deep house, two step, nu-jazz (god I hate that term) at the moment.

I have a small label...must start paying attention to meeting More later......

I used to spin for fun. We used to throw a lot of parties and it was always fun to play with the "wheels of steel" for my guests. I also used to cover every once and a while for a DJ friend at a club if he was unable to attend.

I owned two Technics SL-1210 MKIIIs (the black version of the 1200) with Ortofon Night Club cartridges, and a really nice Rane mixer.

I used to spin mostly Industrial/Dance Club type music: Front 242, Nitzer Eb, Grusome Twosome, Thrill Kill Cult, PWEI, NIN...a lot of stuff on the Wax Trax label.

I got very passionate about hi-end two channel audio equipment - vacuum tube driven - and I sold my Rane mixer and one of my 1210s. I still have the other one.

Yo Roman....I DJ out here on the East. Been doing it for 7 years.

I got Technics, Stanton's, Akai MPC 2000, and a Vestax mixer. I only spin wax- mostly Hip Hop, Soul/Funk, Dancehall /Reggae, Dubs and other Reggae Roots.
I also have a massive record collection that takes up most of my basement. I love digging in the crates. DITC baby!!!
