What I find odd is that they published apologies when somebody got pissed about a cartoon that called the crane "the gayest-looking of all birds" and when a cartoon depicted the Hindu deity Ganesh holding an assault rifle and pistol, and called him (it?) a "dick".

I agree with Matt and Trey... "all, or none."

i can't speak for everyone else, but I can speak for myself on this issue: It's because I respect the right of others to believe as the wish, I don't try to force my beliefs on them or ridicule their beliefs, and I expect the same in return.

the only ones i think are cool are the Buddhists, if those are ticked off about something they tend to just set fire to themself...anybody who does that, certainly does not lack faith... nor does he condradicts any of the scriptures related to his faith , unlike Christians and Muslims who contradict their faith constantly
