Mark it is obvious that your employers have no idea what you are really like. :D

Nice. All I have is a park like setting with a babbling brook running through.

Oh I've got plenty ideas, only problem is they're unworkable. This is why I'm looking for a job as a flunky. ;)

Now you have to keep that beautiful 993 C4S and drive it to work everyday. Afterall, you have an image to uphold now. ;)

Took a whole lot of trying

It's you and me baby.
There ain't nothing wrong with that.

When I hired on at Bechtel in 1981, fresh out of school, my office building was 221 Main Street - right on the Embarcadero. I had a view of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, the Bay Bridge and Alameda Naval Air Station. That lasted about 2 years and spoiled me for life. It was the last good view I ever got.

After 25 years in the business, I don't even have a window in my office now!?! Although there is a tall, hot civil engineer right outside my door. She just graduated and is eager to learn all about concrete and steel (of which I know nothing because I'm mechanical).

Congrats on the digs. My last high-rise gig was 45th (top) floor of 101 Park Avenue, looking from about 35 to 270 degrees. Dunno how I got the corner, but it was very cool while it lasted. I was not in my office for 9/11, but most of my co-workers were...

The gig I landed as consultant pediatrician has earned me a room the size of a small bathroom. One desk, one chair and no windows.

Thats what I get for living in a pseudo-communist country.

Cool digs Mark! Many congratulations on the new gig. May this job be one hell of a lot more enjoyable than your last one. :)

When is the first paper airplane contest?

You know, for team-building.

actually the hard point was that an Ex-President was shopping in one of the highest quality office bldg's in the world. That view is also in that league. I'd rather have the Rocky's.

A side point is that a $B NYC re player was able to turn off the power and influence of an Ex-P. That's big time imo... bonus coupons for me was that it was Hillary's husband.

there is a relatively new $10M restaurant & bar ds that local suits stop at when they are thirsty for lunch time. It's an easy place to hang whether you know the locals or not.

btw.. the $10M was for materials as the re player already owns the bldg outright.

We need a picture of the outside of the building. It is a nice view and everything, but what if the outside looks like a big dildo? Then it wouldn't be that impressive.
