It started life in 1970 as a 914, but now has a 1980 911 engine and tranny.

Is it mid or rear engined now?

What a freak show.

The only things that show there is a 914, somewhere under there, are the door sills, the door latches, the gloves box and the windshield wipers.

If they had done the interior in black, I think I could have a different opinion.

There's a reason car manufacturers hire designers, people with creative intuition and a knowledge of aesthetics. This horrendous atrocity proves that we haven't evolved past the need for these people...

That Frankenporsche needs to be parted out:

3.0 engine with 1000 miles
915 tranny with 1000 miles
turbo brakes

Assuming the price doesn't go too much higher you make a profit selling those three. There should be a little more money in the rest (speedster door, suspension, wheels, seats, etc.)

Would a 3.0 rebuilt go for @$3800? A 915 tranny for another @$2000? The brakes?

Um, I'm assuming the engine access hood is under the top cover there?

A BIN of US $34,900.00 is very optimistic - probably cost twice that to make though.

Those look like 914 doors to me.
