Why is "Pink" doing the Sunday Night NFL intro?

I shouldn't have to look at that, was Courtney Love not available?

Why? Because football is gay. How else can you explain men watching other men running around in tights and jumping on top of each other?

If they think we might be attracted to Pink, then you may have a point.

Oh, and they're not tights, it's the required uniform

LOL! It is weird watching guys half-Nelson each other (and more) with such avid wantonness.

Blue,
If you ever suited up and were hit or chisled you head into somebodies leg the you may change your mind. If you were down on the sidelines of a pro game (or even college game) and saw/heard a hit maybe 10 yards from you then you would quickly understand that it is anything but gay. Even the line defense is a bruise trip. It has to be one of the most violent events.

What Mike said. It's a brutal sport. Players have equated it to being in a traffic collision several times over week after week; a testimony, in short, to endurance if your body makes it to the playoffs.

Come September, even in an L.A., you can smell the blood in the Fall air. And it's a damn ****ing good smell.

Saw our Son do the same after his best soccer games ever. He is bugging the heck out of us to play football but we are resisting for another year or 2. I would prefer to have him play flagfootball to get his running chops down. Plenty of time for hits.

That game seemed realllllly long to me for some reason. Also I don't think he was the only one that lost his gatorade, just the only one on film....

Talk about tough: Didja' see Simms had to have his spleen removed yesterday from all the hits he took? It burst throughout the course of the game, and he continued to play!

Pfff. I've always thought football and hockey were pussy sports compared to rugby and lacrosse. Very little padding, weapons, hard balls, nasty. Ever seen a cross-check or a slash in lacrosse? Or a fight? That's brutal.

Hmmm...I thought it ROCKED!!!

Although, I do hate Holmgren's "go-conservative" once we get a lead. Luckily, we had a 38-3 lead to work with!
