I thought it was "Across the street to the hospital, down the road to the morgue."

if you eat a 12 guage you don't have to worry about such details

There are ways to F that up, too...

It makes sense to me to take out a large life insurance policy, then make your death look like an accident.

I had heard it referred to as an adverse reaction to pain medication for his broken finger. Bit hard to believe that he is a professional football player and it is his first time taking vicodin.

Don't know who T.O. is nor do I care however when I was into recreational drugs I could consume quite a bit of combined substances and remain somewhat in control.

One day I combined vicodin and alcohol... the next day I was informed that I threw a drink across the room, picked a fight with my best friend, then passed out.

My point being the meds can have drastically different affects on different people.

Certainly.
Just noting the absence of moderation for a time....

Same for Kurt Gobang, I mean Cobain.

Owens probably just took a few too many of his painkillers, he had surgery for a broken hand last week.

Here is what my fantasy football site has to say:

"News: A smiling Terrell Owens said Wednesday afternoon from the Dallas Cowboys' headquarters that reports of him being depressed and suicidal were overblown and that he hopes to play for the team in Week 4. Owens was hospitalized Tuesday evening after overdosing on pain medication for his broken finger; Owens said he mixed hydrocodone pain-killing medication with his supplements and became incoherent. At that point, his publicist phoned 911 Tuesday evening. After being discharged from a local hospital Wednesday morning, Owens came to the practice facility and caught passes from Drew Bledsoe before speaking with the media. "I feel very capable of going out there and playing on Sunday," Owens said Wednesday. T.O. added that he did not take 35 pain medication pills ("I wouldn't be here," he said) and that his stomach was not pumped."

"Yo Rick"-we're mellow here in Philly now, at least until 10/8. Actually, most of the WIP idiots were rather sympathetic today, except for that Eskin guy. Even Hugh Douglas, who had a well publicized fistfight w/ him in the locker room last year, was rather gentle.

Its obvious that the guy is greatly disturbed. Even if this was just a "notice me" stunt, its still so far out there to be in serious psych land.
I'd be shocked if Tuna lets him play.

As much as "Dallas sucks" ( a popular Philly chant, just ask Troy) I think we as a city are coming around to believe that he's so disturbed as to need a sleevless jacket. Of course, all that could change if he shows up next Sunday and dances on the Eagle, that would be much more suicidal than some extra "supplements".

Just another opportunity for a media event--which the media depends on nowadays, with cable, etc. The Dallas cops taking taxpayer time for TV news conferences is what burns me. They should be out protecting the public, insteading of following sports celebs around.
