T.O attempts suicide...

well, that meltdown didn't take too long.

that guy has some serious issues...he put 2 more pills in his mouth after paramedics arrived.

*yawn*

spoiled punk wants even more attention. Great. Hope that 911 run didn't affect anyone who really needed emergency services...

Tobra 09-27-2006 06:20 AM

If he really intended to do himself in, he would have been successful. He would have taken handfuls of pills and left a note, not dialed 911 been conscious when the paramedics arrived.

I had heard it referred to as an adverse reaction to pain medication for his broken finger. Bit hard to believe that he is a professional football player and it is his first time taking vicodin.

widebody911 09-27-2006 06:21 AM

Who is T.O. and why would I GAFF?

CJFusco 09-27-2006 06:24 AM

Tyrell Owens, a very talented football player with very problematic behavior - to the point where almost no team wants him.

Apparently he attempted to do the deed with his publicist still there. Guy is obviously starved for attention.

if you don't know who TO is, you wouldn't gaaf

Porsche-O-Phile 09-27-2006 06:48 AM

Attention stunt. Too bad he can't even succeed at that.

Rich76_911s 09-27-2006 06:50 AM

If he really wanted to do himself in, he should have just walked down Broad St. in Philly wearing his new Dallas jersey. I am certain an Eagles fan would have happily done him in. I wouldn't be surprised if someone tries when he comes in two weeks anyway.

I am sure these guys will have a field day with it today. You can listen in if you want:

boo f**king hoo.

Full Tilt 09-27-2006 07:54 AM

I guess I am alone here, but I kinda of feel bad for the guy. Obviously he has some very serious issues.

sammyg2 09-27-2006 08:26 AM

If at first you don't suceed......

Terrel Owens is a low-life with distict and pronounced anti-social behavior traits and character flaws who just happens to be very skilled as an athlete. if he wasn't he would probably be in prison.

IMO He represents much of what is wrong with professional sports and our society in general.
I'm looking forward to the day when he goes away and isn't in the news anymore.

pwd72s 09-27-2006 08:43 AM

Owens will be out of the press soon enough. Father Time. He robs all professional jocks.

jorian 09-27-2006 08:55 AM

Self-absorbed, neanderthal "pro" athlete kills self and makes room for other, more grateful players. Where's the problem?

hytem 09-27-2006 09:19 AM

Owens needs a shrink, and maybe Jerry Jones does, too, for signing him.

Cable TV has changed sports for the worse. Too much money being sloshed around. Advertising money. To the players, the agents and the owners. I would tax the hell out of them.

Actually, that poster is wrong. It's "across the street", not "down the road".

The primary cause of failure is the shallow cut.

deanprichard 09-27-2006 10:11 AM

its referring to a diagonal cut, to open the vein on a slant for a more cross-sectional area, to bleed out much faster.SmileWavy

Ah...

Noah930 09-27-2006 11:10 AM

Well then, if that's the case, the ideal cut is actually just a partial (but sizeable) laceration of the artery, and not a total transection. The intact portion of arterial wall makes it harder for the artery to properly spasm down and stop spurting. Diagonal versus transverse transection does not make much of a difference.
