people you'd like to have lunch with
Who would you like to have lunch with? Which famous people have shaped so much space in your brain that you'd like to have lunch with them, to share thoughts and share some laughs?
![]() Here's my list of 10 living people, and 10 deceased people. Peter Egan, Emerson Fittipaldi, Denise McCluggage, Marian McPartland, Jean Redpath, Mel Brooks, Molly Ivins, Carlos Santana, Phil Lesh, Brian Greene (string theory). JRR Tolkien, Shakespeare, Mozart, Mahatma Gandhi, Confucius, Henry David Thoreau, Carlos Castaneda, Roberto Clemente, Mel Blanc, Jay Ward. |

Harrison Ford, Sharon Stone (more than lunch if possible!), Colin Powell, Jay Leno, Richard Branson, Warren Buffet, Mel Brooks. Might add Molly Sims...
![]() Ayn Rand, James Mischner, Einstein, Lindberg, Jimmy Stewart, Harry S. Truman, Juan Trippe. Ayrton Senna, Jimmy Clark, Fangio and Tazio Nuvalari. Edit, would add Johnny Carson, Lucy, Mark Twain and Will Rogers to the list. A few over the limit on the people who have passed but under the limit on the "alive" ones. Some of the people mentioned above would be very interesting as well.

Randy,
No way. Cialis all the way with Sharon. If I was ever going to use it would need it for more than 4 hours so that leaves Viagra out of the mix... ![]() Joe

Alive: Bill Clinton, Colin Powell, Puffy Combs, Jessica Alba.
Dead: JFK, Hemingway, Steinbeck, George Harrison, John Lennon, Martin Luther King, Elvis, maybe Ben Franklin to discuss chasing tail. Some of the choices in the original post are great people, but not ultimate lunch dates, IMO. Ghandi?? I'd run out of conversation after "Hello" w/ him. Doesn't strike me as a fun guy...

Charlie Sheen and George Lucas were on my mind too, but I could have gone on forever. Lots of fun and/or interesting people out there. I have actually broke bread w/ CS, he is everything you would hope for. Just a great guy who is funny and does not take life or himself too seriously.

Can't think of any of the Hollyweird types I'd like to have lunch with. I've seen pics of many who would probably mean good sex. But then you'd have to talk with 'em afterwards.
So for lunch? Hell, I'd like to be at a lunch for the pelicans who have done the "big ride" thing...Angela, the current road runner, RoninLB, Scooter, and I'm sure I'm leaving others out...I used to love road trips when I was younger. Can't do 'em these days. If I want Hollyweird gossip, there are TV shows that specialize in that...

i'd like to eat lunch someday with grady.
as far as famous folks, maybe our governor. that way i can hammer him on that effen smog exemption thing. as far as fantasy lunches,.....GOD. i would love to hang with him over some great chicken tacos (i bet he knows where the best ones are), and ask him, "what's up?" extra cool if he shows up as either george burns or morgan freeman.
