n Shanghai, any suggestions on what to do?
I had to travel last minute to Shanghai and I'll be here for a week and a half. Anyone have any suggestions on things to do and places to see? I'm staying in Pudong.

crap, my g/f is over there right now but on the Orient Express so I can't get details of the names of all the cool spots. The Bund is a must see, preferably at night. Lots of good western restuarants there. Riding the Maglev is worth it, but you can combine that with the trip back to the airport.
I can't remember if I listed the names of places we hit, but here was my week: http://nostatic.com/weblog/shanghai.html |

knick-knacks and gee-gaws at the Yu Yuan gardens, evening on the Bund; pearls and silk on East Nanjing road. There's a bar on top of the tallest building down near the oriental pearl.. Great views!
