Any Singapore Suggestions?

I'm finishing up a week of work in Singapore (1st trip here) and am hanging out this weekend. Though my host has me fairly well entertained (and boy have we been eating great), if anyone has a "must see/must do" suggestion, I would appreciate it.

Lived there for a couple of years in the mid-90's.

If you have been a week you have probably seen most of the island, but some things to do:
-Sentosa Island
-Singapore slings and peanuts on the floor at the Raffles hotel
-Eat at any (and all) hawker stalls you find (you will miss those)
-Teh Tarik (I still miss those)
-Some shopping at Takashimaya or anywhere in Orchard Road
-Chili crab at East Coast Parkway
-A trip to Johor Bahru
-Read 'No money, no honey' by David Brazil on your way back to find out what you have missed

Too many things to do in just one weekend. Enjoy-lah!!

I taught a bartender at Raffles how to make a proper "Black and Tan". He was amazed at seeing the separation.

From my days at sea in the Navy.... Go shopping at Takashamiya Plaza, lots of cool high end stores even if you don't buy anything. Hit up The Crazy Elephant if you are a blues junkie. It's down on Clark Quay (I think) great house band. Stop by Johnnie Two Thumbs shop if you want a tattoo from a master and legend in the Pacific Coast Navy.

I'll second Sentosa... Take the Cable Tram and plan on staying late enough to see the laser and fireworks show. There's also a zoo that does a nocturnal animals exhibit at night that is really cool.

"Oh, this is the sort of friend your b/f hangs out with..."

Thanks for the suggestions. The off-site meetings are on Sentosa and we'll head back this weekend for some leisure. Night Safari. I'll make sure to visit the hawker stalls. Ate at the Banana Leaf last night (with my hands!) - was the guest of honor so I got to eat an eyeball...

I think we'll close the week at Raffles with a Sling.
