No more online poker
I don't know how many of you play poker online, but as of today, no more... I used to play at least once a week... The POTUS signed a bill that prevents "online gambling".
Poker isn't gambling dammit, it's skill! How many of you guys also played online?

Right now they are all stopping US players. Try to enter a money game. Like it was already said, it's all about who gets their cut.
I can play holdem at the local card clubs and indian casinos, but I can't play online in my own home. Ironic how we brag about our freedoms in the US and now we are the only country in the world banned from internet gaming. |

I'm sure there are ways around this, why not just setup an offshore and tell Pstars you're from Uzbekistan?

Honesty I don't get the whole online poker thing. If you want to play poker on your computer there are several games you can buy to do that. Maybe I'm old fashioned but if I am going to gamble I enjoy the interaction with real people and the controlled chaos of a casino... cute waitresses in skimpy outfits bringing me drinks isn't bad either.
