Cool Moronic motorcyclist now have their own TV show

Superbike on SpeedTV, some cool bikes but the typical smoky burnouts, donuts, standing on the seat, feet over the handlebars tricks... and all done wearing sneakers, blue jeans and T-shirts. Intermixed with thinly veiled plugs for products.

I'm all for freedom of expression but how many people (teenagers) are going to see this, try these tricks on their bikes and end up maimed or killed?

I saw that and have to agree. I think it's a big phat lawsuit waiting to happen. Sad when people will sue due to their own stupidity, but that's the nature of our society I guess. . . I wonder how the producers were convinced to "sign on" knowing that kind of risk.

I'd hope that anyone watching that show would realize it's set up for television and to not try that stuff themselves, but I also think the ability of the public-at-large to think for itself, much less accept responsibility for its own actions is plummetting downhill at a perilously rapid rate.

The more dumb teenagers kill themselves on sportbikes, the better--more parts for the used market and fewer dumbass genes in the pool.

There was a disclaimer on that show. It said the stunts were done by professionals under controlled conditions. Uh huh...

as for the disclaimers, they're rubbish. mythbusters say the same thing... don't try this at home, we're professionals blah blah.... next thing you know everyone and their mother is dropping mentos into soda
