First snow of the season is now on the ground here, It has come earlier a couple of times but not often

I wish we were going to get snow, but that's pretty unlikely. Not completely mind you, but mostly.
Photo of the area on the south side of Houston that got up to 12" of snow Christmas Eve/Christmas day of 2004.

No snow allowed for another week.
I have to bring in 4 cords of firewood, rake my leaves and wrap up my sailboat.
