Alf, didn't you also have an Emerson close up on you too? IMHO all liner locks need to be treated with the same care...
|
I've got a liner lock that has gotten a bit loose. I used to just get liner locks (no lockbacks), but since I got an axis lock, I may never get another liner lock unless the knife is REALLY special.

I guess that as long as you don't treat a folder of any kind as a "hard use" knife, you'll do OK.
For the time I need to dig myself out of a rockfall and then skin dinner, I'll have my Busse. :D |

It has all of the attributes knife designers have relentlessly searched for, but rarely find—(1) Strength: The Arc-Lock™ was independently lab tested at over 1000 lbs. of pressure without lock failure. (2) Speed: Spring-action provides fast and smooth one-handed opening. (3) Safety: Positive closing feature ensures that the blade securely stays within the handle when closed. (4) Ambidexterity: Blade can be comfortably accessed with either hand. (5) Durability: Arc-Lock is self-adjusting for long-term, optimal performance. " |
