My Head Hurts
I don't have my head around this yet..
But for some reason I am full of glee about the Reps losing the House and a little sanguine about losing the Senate. I know a few things 1. Now the Dems have responsibility they are going to be held accountable for what happens, so they can no longer sit on the sides and snipe. They will get pillaged unmercifully. A. I suspect once they are faced/confronted with the reality of the the situation War on Terror/ Iraq etall...they will start singing a song that isn't that much different than the Bush song... 2. Bush has adjsuted his policies all along, they just never showed their hand thats all. A. Bush has been a better presidnet than he is given credit for...the economy is doing well in spite of the blow it took after 911...We had the WORST BEAR STOCK MARKET SINCE THE GREAT DEPRESSION as a result of 911 and the Stock Market bubble GW inherited from the previous admin..unless your a complete idiot that fact alone has to tell U something.. 3. This election has blown the doors off everything, and everyuthing is in flux. A. How will the Dems proceed, with a spirit of cooperation, with the Reps and how will they respond in return? B. Bush can continue the war in Iraq for 2 mores years and leave the Tar Baby for the next prez to deal with...and its a sticky mess anyway U wana cut it. C. Will the Dems try and press their advantage and continue the partisan sniping? D. This election was a close run affair indicating that the electorate is still in a dead heat between Conservatives and Liberals. However this time due to Iraq and not anything special about the Dems the advantage went to the Dems..
