Warning on "I hate you" Thread-Possible Data Mining

I clicked on the 1st page of the thread twice and my firewall privacy system gave me the following warning. When I first clicked on this thread my firewall gave me a message that it blocked a command to send my credit card information to the thread? It did it twice. is someone mining data here?

This is what it gave me:

REND MICRO PC-cillin Internet Security 2006

I did a search and didn't find anything, but this is getting curiouser and curiouser, nonetheless...

-Look at pcmagazine etc. for the latest virus out breaks,
-download all updates-including adaware and anti-coolwebsearch,
-reboot in safemode and do a full virus scan
-erase history, cookies, autocomplete, and everything in Windows/Temp file immediately
-cancel your CCs, notify the companies in writing and recorded phone so they can act, and order new cards with different #'s from your bank.

Sounds like you got a nasty one.
There are lots of foreign orginized crime rings involved in data mining/theft. Heck, even N. Korea is the biggest counterfitter of the US dollar.

Original "I hate you thread" deleted.

Did anyone else have a WAV file called "HaHa" downloaded to the folder they last dowloaded to? I think that was part of that thread. The HaHa WAV didn't seem to have any viruses in it, but I wonder...

Use Firefox and adblock plus and you won't see any of that stuff.

Fortunately, if you don't, Trend Micro does a pretty good job of blocking stuff.
