USB extenders ---- got one, it works!
A while back I posted a question about USB extenders that run over CAT5 cable - got no answers/recommendations, but one person PM'd me asking me what works. Well, I finally got one to test here at work, and it works great. I'm now running a webcam over a 120' length of cat5 cable, no change in video quality, etc. from the normal 6' USB cable. The adaper I got is the iogear branded one.
Up next - cams in the teaching zoo here at work, and streaming our basketball games.
