Alex Zanardi's steering wheel
From his test drive in a F1 car...
"I'm proud of demonstrating that you can battle against your destiny." - Alex Zanardi, after testing the BMW Sauber F1.06, Thursday at Valencia. "And that you can achieve anything if you really go for it." On the occasion of the Formula BMW World Final, the 40-year-old took to the track at the wheel of a modified BMW Sauber F1.06. By driving for the BMW Sauber F1 Team, Zanardi entered motor racing's history books once more: he was the first person who has his legs amputated to test a F1 car.
