My college car was a Plymouth Valiant - THAT was the chick magnet. #1 was a royal blue white int. 69 Firebird 350 John |
My first car was a 1977 Dodge Aspen for a whopping $500 bucks. That thing was a piece of *****, but I was proud of it. It also made me learn my way around my car a lot better. Oh, and just to clarify it was the 4-door sedan model. Not the 2 door hatch back. But it did have the 318 V8 in it.
Not my car, but this gives you an idea of what I'm talking about: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploads9/a1167397427.jpg |
First car a '66 Mustang. It was rusty and ugly but it had a V8 and some power. Next car a 68 Camaro, then a 71 F-150

'70 B.
I'm quite certain there are still bits of lead filler and BRG paint flakes in my lungs after taking it down to bare metal with Zip Strip in my dad's garage. Wish I'd kept that Mark Donohue Racemark. Sold a few years later to buy a Signal Orange 914. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1167410923.jpg Tim |
Wow, Tim!
I'm not too far 'behind' you. My first was a '62 MGA. Only now, 36 years later have I started to miss it. |

My first car was a 82 Lada Niva, 1600cc, 78hp, constant 4x4.
I owned it from '94 till '96 when I sold it to a buddy. Missed it so much, thus I bought it back, fully restored, two years ago. http://home.no.net/raylinna/images/rides/Niva_2.JPG |
My first car! The original Hot Hatch for the US! 1984 Rabbit GTI!!!http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1167430421.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1167430450.jpg
Drove it for 10 years. Was solid as a rock. Full Neuspeed suspension and a bunch of Zender aero pieces. I sure did love that car!!!!! |
