Its Official! The Holiday Season has Started
At my house!
I dont mark the start of the season by the hanging of lights or getting the tree. Even Andy Williams Christmas does not start the Holiday Season for me (does for my wife). No what kicks it off is the first batch of homenade fudge! Thats right, every year I pull out my special copper candy pot and make over 100lbs of the fanstic stuff. Recipe was handed down from my wifes Grandmother who was from Portugal. After the first several batches where I will stay strictly to her directions I will venture off with different chocolates and nuts. Family, freinds and customers get deliveries from now till the end of the year. Just thought I would share. Happy Holidays!

Dan,
Be careful and do not get between the fudge and MikeZ's mouth! Could be dangerous! Hey, have a Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas! Joe

My wife makes maybe 10lbs of fudge in December, along with other candies, cinnamon rolls, and bread. Not much of a fan for sweets myself but it makes points with our neighbors.

Every Christmas my old Dentist in Berlin Germany makes marzipan for everyone. I get a package in the mail every year.
He even sends it after I moved back to America, so guess its not the cavities that he is after!
