Hard frost coming tonight

For fellow South Carolinians, Georgians, and North Carolinians mostly. 25F predicted tonight, had to move the citrus trees indoors.

In SoCal you'd be freezing your Ta-Ta's off at 25F.

Actually, we have some pretty fierce offshore winds now, and some big 0%-contained brush fires burning now.

Ya'll would be sneezing your faces off.

I am glad I moved from New Mexico to escape the snow and cold winters 10 years ago.

19 degrees here right now. This is nuts. We don't usually drop below freezing... I had to scrape my windows this morning!! The horror!

13* here, and got a decent snowfall last night. Putting my studded winter tires on tonight, driving in the snow on my khumos is a wacky adventure I'm not well suited for.

Thanks for that!!

You have no idea how bad it is here right now. There are so many 70-90 year olds on the road with no business driving.

I love some of their stunts. Like pulling out of parking lots onto busy streets without looking and letting everyone on the busy street deal with them pulling out of front of them.

I was is Boyton Beach last week and down there you have a lot of cars on the road and many 4-6 lane surface roads. I-95 is like 12 lanes down there.

You have all these old people driving really slow and young yuppies in their huge SUV autocrossing through the old people, then throw in the stupid teenagers with their "race cars" weaving through the other two and you have a disaster on your hands. I was so stressed out driving down there.

I have been in your neck of the woods in the middle of the summer and fall and honestly its 100X better than what we have to deal with down here.

Oh, and then there are the Canadians........

Jim,

It cannot be that bad as the majority of the Canadians are HERE IN ARIZONA NOW! Jeez do we get tired of the snowbirds, and guess you guys are having the same fun as we are with them.

7:30 Sunday morning - Beautiful day sun is peaking out from some clouds weather is just perfect. The family is being lazy and sleeping in. I pull the top out of the Targa and go for a ride.

I get to the corner and a lady leaving early mass pulls out right if front of me, I sort of half expected it and had taken my foot off the gas and covered the brake pedal, yup she blew through her stop sign and now I am looking at the side of her land tank. I had to lock it up in order not to hit her.

The rest of my Sunday morning ride was relatively qiuet and relaxing but that really put me on edge right off the bat.

I love summers in Florida, I love it when we get our 100° days and all the old people are home sucking a/c and the snowbirds are long gone.

Summers in Florida are as good a winters in North Carolina 10 days and counting till I get there for 2.5 weeks.

Warmest fall and early winter in Sweden for half a century. No frost so far.

But itīs been raining for three weeks straight...

No, wait there was one Tuesday two weeks ago without rain.

But I was working that day.

Poor Porsche.
