Hanukkah is fun
Just had a Hanukkah party at my house, hosted by my cousins Jewish girlfriend.
My family is Chinese decent and mostly Buddhist with a 'married into' Roman Catholic Irish guy and a Protestant Norwegian/Dutch gal. Good food and fun for all, especially playing Dreidel for the kids and yummy latkas And that Hammer dude that showed the Syrian tyrant his place is righteous.Got to do this again next year. Hanukkah, Christmas, KwongZa, Lunar New Year, it is *all* good.

Could be fun, but I was raised in a "do as I say not as I do" environment regarding religion... so now Hanukah, Passover, etc. are all fights with my mom who is trying to do the same thing to my kids as she did to me...

Son - "Mother I cannot stand it anymore and am going to jump off the Brooklyn Bridge."
Mother - "Son, you just had dinner. No swimming for 45 minutes. You will get cramps." |

![]() My wife's maiden name is Kwong and that is the holiday for a bunch of old friends from a dot-bomb that we worked at. Into its sixth year now. It is a celebration of good company, good grub and good booze.
