What Mr. Zimmerman does not mention in his article is that p-210 is also the main ingredient of the trigger mechanism in nuclear suitcases. When we know that Livitenko was a newly converted muslim, it gives a whole new dimension to this very strange assasination. It could have been a manipulation accident. It also does not make much sense to use p-210 to kill someone, as it is so easy to follow the trail of radiation back to the source. There was a thread on that very topic not long ago: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showthread.php?threadid=318861&highlight=polonium+10 Aurel

+1 to what Aurel said. Am overseas now and it has been discussed in the UK and Europe for weeks now that he was assisting his Moslem friends (he had converted) in arming one or more "suitcase" bombs. Its been proven that 2-3 of these were sold to Bin Laden. Problem is that the trigger needs to be re-armed every 180 days or so to be active. I am not normally afraid of many things but this Holiday season is one I would prefer to be anywhere than London, DC or NYC, especially after this mishap with a Russian suitcase trigger agent.
