Good luck, my last boss found out I had found a better job before I did. He showed up on my job-site & asked me if there was something I wanted to tell him. I played dumb & he informed me that the city called him for a reference. I told them to not call my boss unless they were sure they were going to hire me. I then asked him when he could let me go, priceless.
