Wow, lots of miles on this Ferrari....
Could this car really still be worth $25k? I have never seen a Ferrari with over 100k miles and it seems to me that he is asking a lot for a car with so many miles. Anybody got opinions...let hear them.

Hmmm...seems about right $ wise. I'd definitely give it a look see. I actually like the fact it has high miles; shows that the car's been used and not pickled to rot. I'd find out what kind of miles they are, though. If they're L.A. rush hour traffic miles, I'm not so sure I'd pull the trigger.

The price of certain old cas surprises a lot of people not real familiar with the car world. Ferraris are generally limited production and more often than not "collectible". This particular model was as "production" as a Ferrari gets (even Magnum owned one as I recall), thus the low price compared to other years and models. Low mileage is desireable when buying any car, obviously, but with collector cars rarity and condition are overiding factors in many cases.

But can it still be a collector car with over 100k miles?

Seriously, without the equivalent of a PPI, I wouldn't even consider the car. Ferraris ain't Porsches, and plenty can go wrong with Porsches.

Yeah, here I am trying to forge the perfect love/hate relationship with my Porsche 911 and learn all about the quirks associated with my 911, (did I mention Porsche) I dont want to hear about no stinkin fewawwee.
Besides, a friend had one for a couple of years, said it was crap! he went out and bought a 911 instead. Roman |

I would like to have one someday just for the hell of it. I really would love a 348 or 355.....maybe someday.
I could give a rats arse that it got brought up here. Don't get your panties in a bunch though as I am sure that this thread will get moved so as not to offend someone here.

Don't worry about it, Slantnose. Some are a little more hardcore about this being a Porsche forum than others. No bigeee.
Hey, Ferraris are cool, but cost a fortune to maintain. Porsches are much more economical, IMO. Plus stronger and faster. I suggest that if you're serious about a car like the one you posted, you should ask about it on a Ferrari forum. You'd probably get...um...more "favorable" responses there. Good luck. ![]()

I'm not serious about that car or any other Ferrari but I just wanted to hear peoples opinions about them in general and what they thoguht of this particular Ferrari. It was more of an open discussion and pointing out the high mileage on this particular car.
I didn't know I opened the gates to hell for the 911 purist. Did not mean to offend the 911 gods with my ferrari posting.
