does this make me an a$$?
So , instead of doing the bodywork on my friends 79 Pontiac Safari wagon I decided to start tearing down my 78 911SC.
I was losing motivation and figured I should do something or I would probably end up selling the car. Now I have to put it back together or I can't sell it. But if I put it back together I just can't slap it back together because I'm kinda anal retentive about these things(I don't sell junk). Besides, the Pontiac isn't really a paying job. I've known this guy since highschool. ![]() ![]()

Depends on what you promised him.
If you commited to a date that he is relying on, paid or not, you should honor your commit. If it's "do what you can when you have time" then no big deal. Scott

It was the latter. Basically I'm finishing a job someone else started(and did poorly). On one quarter panel I counted 17 small/med dents and 1 large one
![]() The hood is the worst, with scoops that were forced into place as they were welded on. I told him that we're going to have to paint it some light color in order to hide the flaws as 79 Pontiac hoods are not easy to find here. So the plan is to two-tone it as he wants some kind of metallic blue for the main color. ![]()
