Merry Christmas, You're Fired Update

For those of you who gave me all the support in the first thread I thought I would give you an update. I'm still fired as of December 31. However, the local county Juvenile Office has hired me on a contract basis to prosecute their juvenile cases. I know everyone there and they are a good bunch of people. Only part time, 3 days a week. But it gives me a pay check and an chance to keep looking for a full time job!

That doesn't suck. I'd still consider moving to defense work just so you can kick your ex boss' arse in court (although he likely doesn't try anything himself I would imagine).

Well the juvi job is just 3 days a week so that gives me 2 days a week to take some defense work!

Start doing LLCs. My buddy is making a fortune at it and it is easier than litigation. Glad to hear things are getting back on track.

Exactly! Way I see it, this keeps you afloat while still giving you the time to dabble in private practice? Sounds like a gift. Glad to hear it Kurt.
