’06 Colorado Blizzard II

’06 Colorado Blizzard II

Here we go again, just in time for everyone traveling home from the holidays.

The prediction is only one foot. We will see. The initial prediction for the last one was 2” and it turned into 2’.

Here we are a week later and our good ol’ Arapahoe County finally came by with a 3-axle road grader and made a single (and ineffective) pass. The idiotic part is the orange grader was preceded by a County SUV with a flashing yellow light – as if anyone could miss the grader. Talk about a waste of manpower. One more windmill.

Best,
Grady

My wife's flight to Denver (today) was cancelled and she's scrambling to make it there Fri or Sat. instead. We'll see how that plays out.

well, for the record I'm still feeling it.

I have a few deals at a lender in Denver, and they all ran home due to the storm.

Looks like up here there's 2 families not gonna move in today.

Our flight (United Express) is cancelled today. I guess they are worried about our airplane getting stuck in DEN tonight so they just have us repositioning to ABQ tonight. Hopefully it's not the same mess it was last week!

We're supposed to fly through DEN tommorow as well, we'll see how that goes....

Taken this morning infront of my house (I'm south of Denver in Colorado Springs) - I measured 9.5" of snow accumulation this morning.

Yasin, is that a green Volvo 240 under that snow? Classic!

We have not had any snow at all so far in the south of Sweden. Remarkable. New record. It΄s warm too.

damn guys! i dont know how you live here. my plane managed to land, albeit 1 hour late. having my bro in law drive me back from the airport was more nerve racking. there are some 4x4 idiots here. i guess they feel extra safe, so they still go relatively fast.
oh, shoveling snow sucks. coming from sea level doesnt help. i get winded fast. happy new years guys. going to my first hockey game tonight, snowmobiling tomorrow, and snowboarding next week. get to me, if anyone has time for coffee.

Sounds like nothing's changed there for the last 20 years.
