Thanks I have put not quite 1000 miles on it since I picked it up. Made a few adjustments, new seat, new levers, new clutch slave just to make it a bit more comfortable. Needs some new rubber. I have really enjoyed it despite the record rain fall since I picked it up. I believe this winter I may do a total tear down in search of some more hp. I puts out 100 bhp from the factory but I would like a bit more. I also need to tweak the final drive ratio and give it some more sound. Until the cold weather sets in I am keeping it on the road. I'll take some shots soon and post them. |

I stand corrected. I was thinking of the Urals as the BMW based bike. Good to hear Enfield has improved their machines. They really are great looking bikes and deserved a good motor. |
Any new projects on the winter horizon? I'm finally getting around to my Buell build up (or is it down?)m

Saw these at Barber last weekend at the vintage festival

That haunting picture of the cute girl on the cafe racer should be placed on each page of this thread.

The rear of the frame has been moded. I wonder what this started life as?

A Ducati?

My WAG would be from a Monster. The older style, before the current butchery job. It doesn't look like a frame off a SuperSport.

They've been trying to build that Norton for years. It started off as some project up by Portland, OR when I lived there for a year. Can't recall the price, but it was somewhere along the lines of what the average family earns in a year. Then that company somehow fizzled and it's being continued by another group.

Busta, was that built here in Seattle?
|
Yes, built by a private builder in north Seattle. This was his 4th or 5th bike in his garage.

I love the cafe'd 900SS'. If the plastics on my bike ever get destroyed, that would be a cool way to go with the rebuild.

If you like the white Duc take a peek at this one:
